Position Overview:

As the Head of Sales you will inherit a capable team and a healthy sales pipeline. Your mission will be to lead the team in further developing strategic account plans, growing deal sizes, improving deal velocity and bringing consistent, predictable results. We’re looking for someone who has adapted and thrived through his or her career taking new products to market as well as penetrating new markets. How You’ll Contribute: 

Coach the team to improve performance, shorten deal cycles and forecast with accuracy. Ensure that all components of the client value proposition are mapped effectively. Serve as the executive sponsor to drive strategic relationships, faster close rates, and increased average deal size.
Create a culture of continuous learning and training in which wins are shared and replicated and losses are reviewed to avoid future mistakes.
Identify team processes and skill deficiencies for ongoing training and development that drive increased performance and success of reps.
Develop and implement pipeline management discipline, including regular pipeline reviews, in order to operate dependable and accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.
Expected to always be recruiting, for present needs and also to develop a network so we are able to grow efficiently in the future.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

12+ years of sales experience with technology and/or data solutions. Preferably subscription (SaaS or DaaS) type solutions and contracting experience.
5+ years of sales management experience leading direct selling teams with full responsibility for recruiting, training and top grading the sales organization.
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding annual revenue targets.
Effective Negotiator. Proven sales skills in complex deal development, financial structuring, negotiations and closing with both new and existing clients.
Domain experience in Marketing, Marketing Technologies and/or Data solutions is strongly preferred.
Trustworthy. Shows the highest level of integrity, intent, ability and results in all endeavors building trust with all stakeholders
Demonstrated use of or similar CRM solutions for pipeline management and a tool for driving disciplined and repeatable sales processes.
Experience and ability to work as a virtual employee and leader from a home office if you are not located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. If working as a virtual employee the ability to travel to Jornaya HQ in Conshohocken, PA regularly.
